Sometimes, purchases are good. Like last night’s…$20 a pair each…Nike tempo shorts. (Usually almost $30 each…and unfortunately the only shorts I enjoy running in.)

Okay. I semi-bought this as a joke…because I have a creepy obsession with Jill and I thought it was hilarious. I ALSO bought this because it’s protein powdaaa and I really wanted to start making shakes or adding it to my oats. After a week of trials- this stuff is bad.
I can’t help but wonder if it’s bad because it’s cheap JM-bought to be semi-funny protein powder, or I simply hate protein powder in general.
Gah. On to the next one ;)… any suggestions?

Do you have a Trader Joe’s nearby? I get their vanilla whey protein powder, and it is really good. It is inexpensive and doesn’t taste chalky or processed.
Yes! There is one about 25 mins away- I will have to try it! That’s the thing- I don’t want to spend tons of money if I’m going to hate it.
Those are my favorite running shorts! I have them in three colors, but I love all of the new patterns out this year! Since I’ve been rotating those three pairs for like…3 years(?)…I think it’s time to splurge on shorts again :).
Right! Same here- considering how often I wear the few pairs I have now, it completely justified the purchase!

My favorite protein powders are Tera’s Whey and Jay Robb. They’ve never let me down and both have pretty cool flavors!

Love the pink shorts! I suggest you do NOT buy the Aria Women’s protein powder. I see someone suggested Trader Joes and that is where I bought it but I don’t think it’s their brand because I also saw it at GNC… Anyway, it is gross.
